About Casa Alta

Casa Alta is an elegantly restored townhouse located in El Esparragal, Priego De Cordoba, one of three closely linked whitewashed villages set in the heart of rural Andalucia, in the province of Cordoba. El Esparragal is nestled in the beautiful mountains of the Subbetica Natural Park, an area famous for the quality of its olive oil, gastronomy, and stunning views.

Granada, Cordoba, Sevilla and Sierra Nevada are all easily accessible from here, as well as the coast! Ideal for sight seeing, walking, cycling, painting, rock climbing and much more! Casa Alta is the perfect base to discover the “Real Spain”.

El Esparragal enjoys a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of busy lives, but is also within easy reach of the historical town of Priego de Cordoba (voted in the top ten of Spain’s most beautiful towns) and smaller surrounding towns, Carcabuey, Luque, and Zuheros, of which make up the names of our bedrooms.

Patio

Start your day enjoying breakfast in the flower filled patio, before exploring  the historical cities of Priego De Cordoba, Cordoba, Sevilla and Granada. After a day of site seeing, return to Casa Alta for a rejuvenating shower in the luxury ensuite followed by a relaxing evening by the pool with a Cerveza or Vino, or two.

Eating

Dinner can be eaten at Los Alamos Restaurant in the neighbouring village of Zagrilla Baja, alternatively a little further is a picturesque town of Priego De Córdoba with its stunning views and historical quarter.

The local cuisine offers the famous Jamon Serrano, Tortilla, Solomillo and many more delicious Cordobes dishes in our local town of Priego De Cordoba.
